Unfit to Adopt

Unfit to Adopt by Voddie Baucham
Without even a logical argument! If you were asked by an instructor to give a report on the life of an eagle but handed in one on a chicken would they then understand the life of the eagle? Of course not. Why is this type of thing being allowed in adoptive circumstances? Home-educators, in the foster care system, are asked to live a lifestyle completely different than they will once the adoption is finalized. This is organized in this manner in order to allow CPS the opportunity for “proper” evaluation of how the child bonds with the family as well as the conditions and suitability of the home. As Dr. Baucham states , “how absurd!”
How can one determine if the child bonds well or whether the home is suitable if everything will change once the adoption goes through. This argument is ludicrous, first of all. Secondly, how is this protecting children? How is this ensuring their future safety, since these children were deemed unsafe enough to be removed from their own parents? No wonder their are so many issues in the foster care system.
DISCLAIMER: This is not to say that the state doesn’t help and protect children. I am for protecting our widows and orphans! But the system is not infallible! These types of issues make me question the sincerity of the corporate view that the state is thinking first of the children. When I think the next thought, I realize how confused and distorted their views are of what that really means. The problem lies in that there is no foundation in which they follow aside from the changing tide of our culture.
Please pray for our Child Protective Servers and please pray for our adoptive families. Especially, please pray for these children who have to undergo such difficult and at times traumatizing circumstances. God bless!

New Mexico commission orders $6,000 fine for Christian beliefs
In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit. Judges 17:6
On the surface this might seem appropriate and good but consider the chaos this implements! For Micah, a prophet of the Lord, this caused him to undergo great struggles with greed. So much so that it made him undutiful to his mother and robbed her. His mother’s god was her silver and first cursed who had robbed it of her then when she discovered that it was her son she made it into a graven idol, worshiping it with the family.
When we do what is right in our own eyes, soon it turns to what is evil in the sight of the Lord (Judges 17:7-13).
Don’t get me wrong, the law of the land is certainly not equal to God’s Law, but the point remains: the constitution is in place to protect the people from religious domination (meaning one who devotes their lives to any form of belief). When we start finding loop holes to do as we see fit, chaos emerges. I agree with what was referenced in the article, that this case sets precedent for future issues and that if we let this slide and other rulings that are happening in our culture in the name of “discrimination” and other similar situations that are on the borderline and past it, of violating a person’s rights, being arrested for speaking out against things we don’t believe in is not far in the future.

Scary stuff. To all who read my blog, please seek truth and don’t lean on your own understanding to lead your ways. We are only to trust in God’s Word.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. 1 Samuel 22:31
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 2 Peter 2:1-3
Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 2:17-18
