No Reason to Be Afraid

Scripture:“I, even I, am He who comforts you.  Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?” Isaiah 51:12 (NKJV)

Observation: comfort (console, change mind, give rest), afraid (frightened, dismayed), man who will die (mortal mankind, scoffer).

Application: The Lord has comforted me and I have no reason to be afraid of the scoffer with Him by my side. Such a simple, yet profound, reminder of God’s loving care in my life.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that You remove fears as I come closer to You.  That You comfort the downcast and list up the weary.  You are a tender and loving Daddy.  Continue to be near so I can continue to be strengthened by Your love and presence in my life! In Jesus’ name. Amen!
