For the Lord Our God

Lord thank You that You exalt the humble. Exalt my husband and continue to cultivate in him a humble spirit; giving him a servant’s heart. Give him ears to hear and fill him with desire to do Your will. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.” Proverbs 15:33

“not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart” Ephesians 6:6

Equip and Build Up Lord! Amen!

Father, I am so thankful for Your faithfulness, righteousness, commitment; for Your hard work, the persistent pursuit of Your children, and Your wisdom in all things; I’m thankful for Your integrity Father and that You don’t change nor are You confusing in Your ways. Lord I declare these things in my husband. I pray that Chris would become more like You today, unlike any other day before. Make him more aware of Your presence and bless him. Keep him safe and cultivate in his heart purity, keep him alert to his surroundings, equip him for the future You have for him, mold him into the man You’ve called him to be in preparation for the ministry You’ve set him apart for, strengthen him and surround him with encouraging men, and give him a reaping for the work of his hands Lord! Help us to become good stewards with the abundance, Lord, that You may be blessed with our lives and in all that we do. Thank You Lord for all that you are doing in us and through us. In Jesus’ holy name! Amen!

God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:12-13

“For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life, keeping you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of the wayward wife… for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life.” Proverbs 6:23-24, 26

Lead Him

Lord I declare over my husband Your leadership on his life. That he would step into that walk You have before him and that he would seek to protect and provide for our family. Give him wisdom in leading us and with sacrificial love, like You. Be glorified in our marriage! In Jesus’ name! Amen

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church…” Ephesians 5:25-29

“Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.” Colossians 3:19

“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
